The Black Balloon

Red and yellow and,
Pink and green, 
Purple and orange
And blue
Every color of the rainbow
Black and white,
Dark and light
The sun shines on each.

The energy is the same,
But the heat is focused.
Black needing more strength to rise just as high.

Do not discount them,
For their ebony beauty,
Shines bright 
In the same light which strains.
